Nov 5-Ours is not a feeble message

Wow! I can't believe I will be out for six months this Friday. The time has flown by and one quarter of my mission is gone! I still have much to do and learn. I feel like I am not the missionary I expected my self to be at six months, but While talking to Elder Kema (my trainer), He told me that it is good to feel like like it has flown by and I am not exactly who I wanted to be. He told me I should never be comfortable where I am, and to have a sense of urgency, which is needed in the mission field. I am looking forward to the next year and a half, and what I will learn and experience.

This week I went on two exchanges in a row, it was great! I learned so much from both of them, but the second one with Elder Johnson (Elder Kema's Trainer) was especially great because it was his last exchange on his mission, he goes home next Tuesday. While doing a short spurt of tracting we met a family who just returned home from church. we soon found out that they are Seventh-day Adventists. I had no idea what they believed until we started talking with the dad. He was super nice and passionate about the bible. I remember him exclaiming "God is good, right?!" he definitely is good. We shared with him parts of the restoration and gave him a book of Mormon. We have a return appointment with him for next Saturday and we are bringing our Spanish speaking elders quorum president to help us.

This week I started reading Saints, it is awesome. I have already learned so much more about the restoration, and my testimony of Joseph smith has grown so much! I remember sitting in our district council and singing "Praise to the Man", I was overcome by the spirit telling me that Joseph Smith is a true prophet. I love the verse in Joseph Smith History where he says
JS History: 25
For I had seen a vision; I knew it, and I knew that God knew it, and I could not deny it

I know that He saw God the father and his son Jesus Christ, I know that he translated the book of Mormon by the power of God, I know that he was no where near being a perfect man, but he was the man chosen to restore Christ's church back on the earth. I know it, and I know that God knows it, and I cannot deny it.

I love you all! Stay excellent!
